“Nobody makes it better” – and lovers of this sweet speciality know it well: when it comes to fudge, Mrs Tilly’s from Scotland is outstanding. This family-run company still makes fudge just as it was made in grandmother’s day, with most steps carried out by hand.

Of course, they also fragrance entire rooms or the car. If the scent becomes less intense over time, a brief shake helps loosen the granules inside.

A true insider tip: before disposing of the sachet once its scent has faded, cut it open and vacuum up a small amount of the granules. Your vacuum cleaner will then carry the fragrance of your chosen sachet.
